Special recognition to the Head Boy Dancer, Danger Black Eagle, who led the Crow Hop Contest, and the Head Girl Dancer, Lacey Eastman, who led the powerful Push Dance.

In preparation for the upcoming Bison Harvest, our Indian Education for All team partnered with Farm to School to host a special guest speaker. We were honored to welcome Les Left Hand from the Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council (RMTLC) into several high school classrooms this week. Mr. Left Hand delivered an engaging presentation on the significance of the Bison. He shared traditional knowledge about the many uses of the Bison, including its role in providing food, clothing, tools, and shelter.
A huge thank you to Les Left Hand and RMTLC for enriching our learning with real-world connections and Indigenous perspectives and thank you to teachers Mr. Jonathan Stands, Mrs. Amy Stops, and Mr. Kaldahl for creating space for this meaningful learning opportunity. Our students walked away with a richer understanding of the Bison’s role in Tribal history and culture. Ahóoh

Crow Agency Public School had the honor of welcoming Christian Parrish aka Supaman! His message of hope, resilience, and cultural pride lit up the room and inspired our students to walk in their power, embrace who they are, and dream big.
Through his powerful words and high-energy performance, Supaman reminded us all of the strength we carry in our roots and the importance of lifting each other up.

Hardin School District is proud to have partnered with The Wyld Foundation to launch Uuwatisee (Big Metal) in our schools. Uuwatisee is an educational RPG adventure video game that immerses students in Apsaalooké culture and language through interactive storytelling. Players follow the main character as they explore the heritage of the Apsaalooké people, engage in quests, and learn cultural practices, traditional knowledge, and language elements tied to the tribe.
Dimarco Barea, the creator of the game and Executive Director of The Wyld Foundation says, “I am so grateful to be working with the Apsáalooke community and Hardin School District leaders like Superintendent Mr. Tobin Novasio, Bianka Rock Above District Indian Education Director and all of the staff and teachers to pilot this innovative and much needed program. This move will allow students to connect with peers from various schools, share cultural knowledge, and learn together. Schools that have the most engagement with this game will be able to use it as a teaching tool as a turnkey solutions for the IEFA requirement and to enhance both the language and cultural awareness of their students in an innovative and interactive way.”
Update: SB today the game times have been moved back in order to get fields ready. Hardin v Dawson at 1:00 pm, Dawson v HP 3:00 pm and Hardin v HP at 5:00 pm. Also Tennis Invite is still going today and tomorrow projected start times are at 9:00 am.
